Drawing Aids
1.
Check for duplicate entities and delete them. This saves much wasted cutting time.
2.
Explode all
AutoCAD blocks.
3.
Separate cutting
and scoring operations on different layers.
4.
When creating lettering, use the Rhino program. Use
the Text tool to write with. Select a font, tell it to write as “curves”
and specify a
text height. Arrange the text where you want it in the drawing (move, rotate
etc.) Save the .dxf file as AutoCAD version 2004,
check “Project to plane”, uncheck “Use simple entities”, leave everything else as is.
