AIAS Membership

There are many reasons to join AIAS while you are here at Tech. We have several events throughout the semester, which are places to meet new students or to develop new skills in our workshops. We hold meetings every month to discuss upcoming events, workshop ideas and schedules, as well as to socialize.

This year there will be a four-square tournament, the annual block out competition and party, our new annual ball and expo "Some Assembly Required," numerous workshops, intermural sports teams and possibly lectures from guest speakers.

There are also numerous benefits from AIAS that offer reduced prices on many goods and services, including art supplies and computer gear and software. NEW this year is free membership to AIA for 18 months following graduation as an AIAS member. Add to that the print service that was started last semester, offering drop-off printing convenience to AIAS members, allowing them to pick up finished prints later, at no additional cost.

Membership costs only $55 dollars per year, with $10 of that going directly to our AIAS treasury which helps cover guest speakers, funding our block out band and other events. Included is also a subscription to the AIAS magazine "Crit" for the year.
